- Chicken wire
- Sphagnum moss
- A chopstick
- (floral or sewing – the longer the better)
- Succulent plant cuttings like Echeveria, Aeonium, Crassula, Sempervivum, Sedum, Agave and Cotyledons
Make the moss form
Create a cone form with the chicken wire and pin together. Fill this with sphagnum moss, pressing the moss firmly into the wire so you cannot see the structure.
Soak moss form
Soak the moss form in water. Then take it out and let it drain.
Embed succulents into moss
Take the chopstick and make a small hole in the moss. Then take the succulent cuttings and embed them into the moss, pinning them into place. Keep doing this until the entire structure is covered.
