Organise and display your reading material with this handy leather magazine holder. Simply craft and hang on any hook.


  • 2 leather straps, 6.5cm x 117cm each
  • 6 x 8mm double-capped rivets
  • Decorative hanging ring


  • Craft knife

  • Screw or hook for hanging

No special craft skills required.


  1. Overlap one end of each strap by about 2cm. Use a leather punch the same diameter as the shaft of the rivets to make 3 holes evenly spaced across the overlap.
  2. Put the rivets into the holes and set each rivet using the rivet setter and mallet.
  3. Repeat with the remaining ends of the straps, joining them into one long loop.
  4. Fold the loop in half and pass it through a decorative ring to hang it by.
  5. Hang the magazine holder on a screw or hook in the wall and slide magazines into the loops created by the straps.
