Lena Catterick, a busy mum and founder of lifestyle brand , likes to keep things simple when it comes to fashion.
"I’ve always been drawn to beautiful landscapes, pristine beaches and sunshine," says Lena. "When I found Byron, it was love at first sight and we’ve never looked back. I live in a little white beach shack with my husband Carlo and our children, Yolanda and Louie."
"Less is more in my view; I take a minimal approach to styling, which helps me feel centred." Lena and her daughter Yolanda in Byron. Lena wears an ‘Isibéal’ wrap top, and ‘Finnén’ pants.
"When Yoli was two, we travelled to India and discovered ancient dyeing methods using medicinal herbs and natural mordants, which are renowned for their therapeutic properties and are chemical-free," says Lena. "We used this method to make our baby carriers, added a few baby accessories and expanded into children’s clothing, then women’s. We now have a shop in Byron Bay and one in Bali, where we produce our clothes."
